Vicky Cristina Barcelona (The Weinstein Co.)
Starring: Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Hall
Woody Allen’s latest flick features a hot cast and tells a steamy tale. Americans Johansson and Hall are visiting Barcelona and meet a flirtatious artist (Bardem). All hell breaks loose when his ex-wife (Cruz) comes into the picture. To call it a sexy love triangle would be putting it mildly.

Tropic Thunder (Dreamworks)
Starring: Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey, Jr.
You’ll laugh out loud all the way through this mockery of Hollywood. Three big-shot actors (Stiller, Black and Downey) are sent to what they think is a deserted location to shoot their latest action flick, and everything goes terribly wrong. From the over- the-top makeup and props to the actors’ vices, this movie gives hilarious insight into what some Hollywood stars are really like. Tom Cruise has a surprisingly hilarious cameo — fat suit included! Who knew he could be so funny?

Prison Break: Season Three

(20th Century Fox)
Starring: Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell
Michael Scofield (Miller) is back behind bars… in Panama. Thirteen episodes (blame the writers’ strike) plus bonus features, like cast and director interviews, round out this four-disc set.

Nim’s Island (20th Century Fox)
Starring: Jodie Foster, Abigail Breslin
Nim (Breslin) concocts a plan to find her missing scientist father (Gerard Butler) with the help of an explorer (also Butler) and her favorite author (Foster). A formulaic plot, one-dimensional characters and obnoxious product placement detract from an otherwise
cute kids’ adventure movie. While adults might tire of the film, children will enjoy the whimsical island setting, complete with a bevy of animal stars
